"I cannot commend 'Your Personal Cook' highly enough. Our move to our newly restored house coincided with the arrival of 14 house guests. Half an hour after the builders left, our guests arrived to the most sumptuous buffet. Everyone was blown away. Then followed 10 days of great food and lots of fun. Every morning, anything anyone wanted to eat was catered for: full English breakfast, piles of steaming pancakes drizzled with maple syrup plus fruit, muffins, cereals and pastries.
Every evening had a theme: Indian, Italian, Mexican, BBQ, traditional English roast... The ingredients were bought, prepared, cooked with the minimum of fuss, and everything was cleared up afterwards. However, this isn't why we chose to work with Helen and Paul, nor is it the reason we continue to work with them on a regular basis. We chose them, because we warmed to them immediately. Helen's warm and sunny personality never fails her, not even at 1am after catering for 20 people, including six children under 10 (for whom she always prepared surprises). This, combined with Paul's dry sense of humor, patience and stellar(??!!) magical capabilities (I'm not going to mention poker lessons), makes for a great team. When they came back to us to cater for an important business dinner two months later, it was as if we were welcoming back much loved members of the family, and you can't say more than that.
